How do we open the door for more women?
As an industry, we need to do a better job of encouraging women to join the trades. For many years women have made up 10 percent of the overall construction workforce, with only 1 percent in the skilled trades. While Graniterock has a long history of women in top leadership positions, there’s more work to do to show females the opportunities and benefits of a career in construction.
