Winter 2023 was one for the history books with a steady beat of atmospheric rivers dumping rain and snow at a pace we haven't seen in years. The good news is the very wet winter has nearly erased California's drought concerns with full reservoirs and record snowpack. However, the cost of flooded highways, broken levees and other damaged infrastructure is well over $600 million. The role of construction aggregates in rebuilding California's infrastructure is an essential one.
