Coolest, biggest mobile rock crusher in California - maybe the world!
Standing 4 stories tall and 150 feet long, the Krupp is said to be the largest mobile rock crusher in the world. The machine arrived at Graniterock in 1985 from Germany, where it was manufactured. The rock crushing giant can gobble 3,000 tons of the Wilson Quarry's aggregates per hour, taking 36-inch boulders down to 10-inch (+/-). The Krupp supports efficient mining with its ability to rotate on the Quarry floor to locations closer to the mining face.
