Graniterock is proud to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Bruce W. Woolpert Algebra Academy. More than 900 eighth-graders have come through the academy since its creation in 2010 by Graniterock's late President & CEO Bruce Woolpert and Vice President Kevin Jeffery. The Academy was developed to stretch the math skills of the area’s highest-achieving middle schoolers and encourage a life-long enjoyment of algebra and its application to real-world problems. Through our partnerships with UC Santa Cruz, Cal State Monterey Bay, Driscoll's Berries and 13 middle schools, we’ve inspired teenage students to excel in their pursuit of academic excellence and math-related career success.
